Dear Sue,
On January 11, 2010,
the boiler in our
restored 1894
Victorian home
malfunctioned
sending smoke and
soot throughout the
structure; only the
attic was spared.
We contacted our
insurance company of
19 years and as
every homeowner
fears, they proved
to be a model of
self-interest and
indecisiveness.
We also called you.
Within hours you
were in our home;
you immediately set
up an ozone machine
which eliminated the
terrible odor.
You took control of
the situation and
turned our worst
nightmare (to date)
into a manageable
calamity with a very
happy ending.
Whenever we needed
to speak with you,
you were just a
phone call away.
The crew you sent to
restore order and
sanity was amazing.
Four young women
worked diligently
eight hours a day
for six days.
They cleaned every
surface, every
object, the inside
of every object.
At times we
witnessed them
cleaning with
toothbrushes.
Sue, I am writing
this letter for
prospective clients
to read and I want
them to know ours is
no ordinary house.
The varnished
American Chestnut
and quartered White
Oak woodwork is all
original. Many
of the ornate
lighting fixtures
date to the turn of
the 20TH century,
the wall papers and
hand printed
Bradbury & Bradbury
designs with
detailed borders and
friezes.. Your
wonderful girls made
everything new
again, including the
upholstered
furniture and
carpets.
Clearly they enjoy
their work, they
enjoy working with
each other, and most
importantly, they
enjoy working for
you.
I don't know if I
told you this or not
but after the girls
finished cleaning
our kitchen, I could
not cook anything
for two days.
The surfaces were
too clean!
Every surface from
countertop to floor
has an unfamiliar
shine that said, "No
crumbs, no spills!"
Fortunately, the
return of our
daughter from
college put a stop
to that.
I would not wish
such a disaster on
anyone, yet, I know
you deal with one
every day. The
happiest resolution
of such a situation
will come from suing
Elite Cleaning and
Restoration.
Please feel free to
make this letter and
our names available
to prospective
clients
Your most satisfied
customers,
